Research Grant Program

Over $600,000 in funding has been awarded through the SHAPE America Research Grant Program since its inception in 1997. The program is administered through the Research Council and is designed to fund member projects of value to the SHAPE America professions.

2014-2015 Grant Program

The 2014-2015 Research Grant Program has launched!  The deadline for all Phase I proposals is January 5th, 2015.

Phase I Application

The maximum amount awarded for the Early Career Investigator is $5,000.  The maximum awarded for the Graduate Student Grant is $2,500.

2013-14 Grant Recipients

The 2013-2014 Research Grant Program resulted in the Research Council funding four Early Career Investigator Grants (for up to $5,000 each) and four Graduate Student Grants (for up to $2,500 each). The recipients are:
