SHAPE America offers a wide variety of professional development, including standards-based workshops and webinars and timely podcasts and events for P-12 educators, college/university faculty, coaching educators and researchers.

New SHAPE America Workshop
Ideal for educators looking to refine and advance their practice, SHAPE America workshops provide in-person training for preK-12 physical educators and future professionals covering a variety of topics and concentrations.  Here are our latest workshops:
SHAPE America adapted physical activity workshops are customized to meet the needs of particular school districts. Workshop topics include dealing with visual impairments, mobility limitations, autism spectrum disorders, behavior management, and more. 
Get the fundamentals of a skills-based approach to health education. This workshop will focus on developing student proficiency using the National Health Education Standards. These new workshops are designed to help teachers better understand and implement the national standards and grade-level outcomes. Physical Best is a comprehensive health-related fitness education program developed by physical educators for physical educators.

The Physical Activity Leader (PAL) Learning System is a cutting-edge, all-inclusive professional development resource within the Let's Move! Active Schools framework. 

SHAPE America offers live and recorded webinars for physical educators, health educators sport coaches, PETE and HETE professionals and students, and others with a vested interest in physical education and the health of our nation's children. All SHAPE America webinars are 1 hour long. Participants will earn a certificate of 1.0 contact hour with each webinar they view.
