Graduate Student Research Award
The Graduate Student Research Award is awarded to an outstanding author(s) and presenter(s) of a research program for the SHAPE America national convention. The award is intended to recognize and encourage graduate student scholarship. Contenders for this award are limited to the accepted Research Council convention abstracts submitted by graduate students indicating an interest in the award.
The recipient shall:
- Be a current member of SHAPE America.
- The graduate student must be first author and presenter and must have completed the research while a graduate student. Graduate students who authored the top rated accepted abstracts are asked to submit an expanded abstract and have their advisor submit a statement of recommendation.
