Christopher Hersl
Vice President for Programs and Professional Development
Christopher Hersl is in his twenty first year working in education. Previously he has worked as a health and physical education teacher, resource teacher, safe and drug free schools coordinator, assistant principal, coordinator for health, physical education and athletics
and in his most recent role, as an educational specialist for health and physical education for the Maryland State Department of Education. In addition to his professional work, his volunteer service has included
multiple terms on the Maryland Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Executive Board as well as a term as President of the organization.
Chris resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife Marcy and their daughters, Ryann and Gabby and is a proud graduate of both the University of Maryland at College Park with a B.S. in Physical Education and Goucher College with a M.Ed. in School Improvement Leadership.
