2018-19 SHAPE America

Impact Schools Grant Program

Meet the 10 SHAPE America Impact Schools grant recipients for 2018!

The SHAPE America Impact Schools grant program identifies and provides much-needed funds and professional development opportunities to 10 eligible schools across the country. Funds raised for this program will be used to improve existing health and physical education programs and help teachers continue their studies and build expertise.

Together our 2018 grant recipients represent more than 5,000 students and include Title I elementary, middle and high schools, ranging from 58-100 percent free and reduced lunch. These 10 grantees have demonstrated a clear passion for improving their health and physical education programs, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of their students and the community.

Help us raise much-needed funds for these high-need schools!

Join SHAPE America and Gopher Sport for the Big Feats for SHAPE America Virtual Race supporting SHAPE America's Impact Schools grantees!
A virtual race is a race you can complete anywhere in the world at anytime! Big Feats Virtual Race participants set their own movement and/or distance goals and complete the race on their own time, at their own pace — and at any location they choose.

Eighty percent of funds raised by the Big Feats Virtual Race will be allocated to help support the 10 schools selected through the SHAPE America Impact Schools Grant Program.
The remaining net proceeds will help support local, state and national efforts and outreach for health and physical education.
