With the culmination of School Specialty, Sportime’s partnership for the SHAPE America Teacher of the Year program, we are faced with a gap in the provision of equipment for Teachers of the Year that will be presenting at conferences throughout fall 2019/early winter 2020.
In the spirit of uniting our community and providing equitable opportunities for everyone, we hope that your company may offer in-kind assistance to ensure that any Teacher of the Year will have the equipment they require for their presentations.
All participating vendors will be recognized on this page and SHAPE America will coordinate any requests received from Teachers of the Year in an equitable manner across all participating vendors. Additionally, SHAPE America will recognize the generosity of all participating equipment manufacturers through social media channels, Momentum magazine and the Et Cetera bi-weekly email.
Process for Equipment Requests for Upcoming Presentations
For presentations between September 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020
SHAPE America Teachers of the Year that have upcoming presentations during the timeframe specified above should complete the Equipment Needs Form immediately.
As a general rule, we ask that you submit equipment requests AT LEAST 4 weeks prior to the date of your scheduled presentation. SHAPE America is pleased to have the opportunity to work with equipment suppliers that have generously stepped up to offer their support during this time of transition.
