Jr. NBA Physical Education Curriculum

In the Jr. NBA Grades K-2 curriculum the focus is on introducing and providing
opportunities to practice fundamental motor skills in an encouraging, noncompetitive environment. The goal
of the Jr. NBA Grades K-2 curriculum is to engage in activities that form a foundation of motor skills

In the Jr. NBA Grades 3–5 curriculum, the focus is on building fundamental motor skills

through practice, while having fun.
In the Jr. NBA Grades 6-8 curriculum, the focus shifts toward team concepts, while
still heavily emphasizing skill development. The goal of the Grades 6-8 curriculum is to have students begin
applying tactics and strategies more directly to modified game situations.
NFL FLAG Football School Curriculum

This NFL FLAG Football curriculum was created for use in elementary school physical
education classes. The activities in this curriculum are appropriate for use with students between grades
3-5 (ages 8-10) and are designed to be delivered during a standard 40 minute physical education class
