Southern District offers an array of programs and events sponsored by SDA and SHAPE America.

• The Southern District Conference is held annually and provides networking with professionals and students in Southern District states.
• Southern District honors its outstanding professionals and students through the Southern District Awards program.
• Advocacy resources are available to provide guidance about issues and best practices. Members can take action on national issues through the SHAPE America Legislative Action Center.
• Southern District offers grants to Southern District states to implement advocacy initiatives.
• Students can participate in programming designed for young professionals.
